About the role
In this role, you would be responsible for driving new business to the company and for continuously developing the new business pipeline to actively support HTS’s growth plans.
- To proactively identify, target, and win new business from corporate clients with significant business travel & meetings and events (M&E) spend.
- To have a complete understanding of each new client’s company organisational structure, their values and their key business objectives.
- To identify the synergy between HTS and potential new clients.
- To be commercially aware at all times, continuously identifying profitable customer opportunities.
- To continuously source, research and qualify new leads to add to the sales pipeline.
- Analyse new client data and understand requirements to ensure an efficient proposal is produced, utilising HTS’s internal systems and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
- To prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential new clients using MS PowerPoint and HTS’s inhouse booking tools.
- To write attractive and bespoke proposals for potential new clients, addressing their specific requirements.
- To be capable of writing and submitting tender submissions to an exceptional standard with a careful eye for detail.
- To confidently deliver demonstrations on HTS’s bespoke online booking tools to potential new clients and key stakeholders.
- Provide educational sessions with key bookers across customer portfolio on the online booking tools and benefits available through partnering with HTS.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the new business pipeline, identifying cross and up selling opportunities of all HTS’s services are confidently represented to the client.
- To confidently manage relationships with senior and key personnel internally and externally to ensure smooth onboarding of all new clients..
- To liaise and handover to the Account Management team regarding the development and key objectives for each new client once implemented.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement to ensure HTS remain leaders within our industry and maximise on potential earning opportunities to win new clients.
- To plan, invite and host customer events at relevant venues which support HTS and customer objectives with the aim of building customer relationships from new stakeholders.
- To be consistently building your product knowledge of the industry and competitors and share this insight with the HTS team.
- Ensure all customer communication and meetings illustrate HTS in a highly professional manner.
- Utilise social media including LinkedIn as a sales tool and to drive brand awareness of HTS in a professional and ethical manner.
