Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa – where all the world’s a stage

Shakespeare said “All the world’s a stage” but if you ask us, one of the best stages for a business retreat is Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa!

By Laura Hughes, National Account Manager at HTS (Hotel and Travel Solutions).

Set in 11 acres of Warwickshire parkland, just five miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, this Grade II listed gem offers the perfect combo of history, luxury, and relaxation – a setting so inspiring, even Shakespeare himself couldn’t resist.

Where history meets hospitality

Legend has it that Shakespeare stayed here in 1599, penning As You Like It within the hotel’s walls. We may not have written a masterpiece during our visit, but we certainly ate, drank, and made merry – all in the name of client research, of course!

A setting fit for a Bard

From the As You Like It Lounge, where we felt like nobility surveying the gardens, to really tasty dining and signature cocktails, the Billesley team, led during our trip by Laura Cherrington, delivered hospitality worthy of a standing ovation.

To retreat or not to retreat? That is no question!

This venue is ideal for business events, corporate retreats, and team-building experiences. Whether unwinding in the ESPA spa, exploring All Saints Church, or setting sail on a River Avon cruise, there are plenty of ways to mix business with leisure.

And for those who enjoy a spirited twist, our Shakespeare Distillery gin-making experience was the cherry on top!
